Temptation. Does our desires lead to suffering? This mixed media work depicts a reminder and an iconic and symbolic biblical story that still applies to our daily life in 2020. I chose this motif to ask myself does what we desire alway have a positive effect in our daily lives or can it lead to our suffering and the effect it has on life and plant earth. Are we still giving in to these temptation that once like eve in the garden of eden ate from the tree of knowledge. Sin entered the world because Adam and Eve defied god. So there will always be the wisdom to know that we should only take what we have be rightfully given much like the apple our choices have a greater impact. The old truths can symbolise that to me for that this piece is a reminder of that.
